Drive-thru terrible!! Went there June 1st. Had my bank card dropped by the server which I was lucky to see fall out of the corner of my eye, and when I asked her if that was my bank card that fell, she said matter of factly,

HORRIBLE SERVICE on top of that I was to receive free coupons, a year ago and still have not, called twice. NOTHING.

food is prepared well

This is the worst Swiss Chalet i've been to. Maybe that's why it was empty when i went there with the exception of one couple. Usually the other swiss chalet's are packet at this time of night, it's hard to get a seat in the weber st. swiss chalet. Well, anyways, i ordered the dry ribs and double leg dinner with steamed vegetables and both orders were pretty much room temperature, not like the other swiss chalet where the food is served piping hot (fresh). This is how cold the chicken was that the butter never melted that was put on top of the chicken, same thing for the vegetables. Also, as i was eating the chicken i noticed that the bones were colder then the meat, (maybe it had been microwaved after being taken out of the fridge). Well after eating about half of the dinner the waitress came my way and i brought this to her knowledge. I guess she told the manager about this but came back saying that the manager said that i should of told them that before i started eating. I asked the waitress that if she had told the manager that the butter hadn't melted from top of the chicken or the vegetables, this is how cold this food was, and she said she did. Oh, well i guess they need every penny they can get those poor folks aren't doing much business anyways. My bill came to $21.xx something i left $22.00 dollars there and headed my way out. So, for anyone out there, don't waste your time at this crappy swiss chalet were the food is refrigerated and reheated in the microwave. I was wonder how come the order was pretty quickly brought. No, wonder they have it premade and waiting to be reheated in the microwave. I give the swiss chalet a big 0. However the swiss chalet on weber st. N in Waterloo deserves a good rating, their food is always fresh and hot. I actually have to wait for it cool down. No wonder they are always jammed packed every night of the week.
